i love sweatpants

sweatpants are in my top ten favorite things of the world, perhaps the top 5. if i see someone in sweatpants i do not think 'weird, they are wearing sweatpants in a mall' i am more apt to think 'i'm jealous. i want to be wearing sweatpants right now'. working from home, i can't seem to get myself to put on jeans in the morning. why, why would i do that? [altho i'm still searching for that perfect pair of jeans that are crazy comfy/versatile/quality/look great on me]. anyway colin bought some sweatpants
from old navy last friday and i think he's worn them once. i've worn them every single day. i am in love with them. that has been my week, in a nutshell. me and the s-pants. and my son rapidly learning the letters of the alphabet.
we also love watching christmasy movies during the holidays. so we watched the holiday, and then i watched sleepless in seattle. i don't know what makes a movie 'christmasy'. because colin and i watch our favorite movie when harry met sally every year but i don't know if people would consider that christmasy? but i love movies and am open to suggestions for what we should watch!... right when i wrote 'watch' [which is already sounding weird to me. isn't there a better way to say i 'watched' a movie. i viewed a movie?] saylor held up a watch to me. like a wrist watch. WATCH ok it's sounding really weird right now.
i'm also loving swaptree.com! it's amazing. you trade books, cds and dvds with people. you only pay shipping and you can even print out the postage. we don't have a printer yet but we can walk to our post office so that's fortunate for us. i love it! it's so great to put in a movie i'm willing to get rid of and see 3000 options show up for what i can trade it with. you can just put in things that you have, and things that you want. and they will also do the work for you, i get an e-mail saying 'can you do this trade? yes, yes i can mr.swaptree. i sure can.

saylor at the helm. aka at trader joe's.

Fred Claus was actually really good! It is kinda sad too, which is surprising!

Elf is a quality holiday film that will get you in the christmas spirit in no time too! :)

By the way, that pic of Saylor is sooo cute!

I have to suggest ELF. I think someone else already did. I love that one. I love sweatpants too. Especially now that I am kind of pudgy. Maybe I will love jeans when I am skinny again. They are just so not comfortable when you've got a muffin top hanging over!! We're home by the way. Wait you already know because you texted me this morning!! :) :)

i know exactly what you mean about christmasy movies!! when harry met sally is totally that way, sleepless in seattle, home alone, you've got mail, love actually....i hear gremlins and die hard (though i've yet to see them).....trading places with eddie murphy is a good old one. i also love traditional ones like christmas vacation, a christmas story, elf and i want to see fred clause and the new one out this year 4 christmases.. i'm sure there are more!

Oh I love When Harry Met Sally! I love all the old couples talking about how they met and how long they've been together. It makes me all warm and fuzzy. "You made a woman purr??!" Quality stuff, right there.

I say that any of the old clayamation movies are a must.

I suppose you could say "I saw a movie," but then that makes it sound like you only saw it once. A long time ago. When Harry Met Sally is my all-time favorite movie. Ever. And yes, it reminds me of Christmas. Mostly because there are a few Christmas scenes in it...and of course, the New Years scene...and the orgasm scene, only because I went to that deli last Christmas when we were in New York. I love you Michelle, thanks for the comment. It made me feel a touch better. You're amazing.

Elf is hysterical, I always watch White Christmas, but I'm a dork like that. Colin-we watched the claymation one with the raisens and the bells-I loved the song with the bells....I'm sure Mom has it on video somewhere still.....

And sweatpants-I LOVE THEM!!!! I am pretty much in them as soon as I get home and am in them until I have to go out in public...mostly because I don't wear very public looking sweatpants-they're usually Pink, or light blue, or green....whatev...I love them still...
